You just LOVE that stuff, huh?

What can I say? You have such a humorous narrative style! And you DID work jokes into it, sort of. Including "oops", nuclear powered, "harvest" and the "trash" reference.

The same "trash", yesterday, blew his entire back yard harvest out into the town-owned
green space that runs along the rear of the neighborhood homes. The result is about 80
feet long by 2-3 feet high.

I thought MAYBE he was then going to use his nuclear-powered rider to mulch them all up
a bit. Nope. (And the town is done for the year with upkeep.)

Prevailing winds will dictate they end up in MY back yard.

I've been here since 1977 and have never - ever - seen ANYBODY use that green space as
a compost pile location.

I used a social media "app" (nextdoor dot com) to post a passive-aggressive query out to
folks who belong to the surrounding "community". 16 hours and nobody has replied. My
knee-jerk takeaway is that I'm being a difficult curmudgeonly poopyhead and they are
afraid to tell me.

Whatever. I also sent a note to Town Code enforcement... and OOOPS... I also mentioned
that same person uses that town property to ride dirt/mini bike/cycle. THAT is specifically
called out in The Code.

Grrr.

The Town Code Enforcement likes to pawn off certain infractions
to the County Sheriff.

The slob across the road (actually, he was the legal resident's "booty call")
with the broken exhaust system... an actual Noise Ordinance infraction...
is NOT enforced by The Town. I was told to notify The Sheriff. The reply
from THEM is to "call when it's happening". Right. And by the time
THEY arrive, "Mr. StudService" is either long-gone or already in the house
giving it to the woman. The Sheriff must HEAR the noise. They cannot
look under the car and see the lack of muffler. (*)

But the dirtbike thing isn't totally about the noise (which there IS), it's about
non-permitted use of Town property. If I'm on the deck, veg-ing, I really
do not want to be a captive audience.

(*) He has not been around in almost a month. Not to worry... she'll get
the horn on again and it'll start all over.
