We do have some of the best deli's anywhere...and about 10,000 other things. We even have Target now, like the rest of the USA But everything gets more expensive every year. All of the SoCal products that I like will probably skyrocket here, though. I'm thinking almonds, olive oil, avocado, etc...

Walmart has tried multiple times without success...I'm not entirely sure how Target gets into the city, since the effect will probably be remarkably similar.

Been having a hard time staying awake during the day and evening. Just about ready to add another medicine, even though I really don't want to. But I can't keep going like this.

My guess is that it is only a matter of time. I was surprised when Walmart wanted in and our mayoral administration, the Mike Bloomberg years, didn't let them. That administration was super-corporate friendly...My faith in humanity is [slightly] restored!
