Just finished a very quick catch-up back-read here from the 3rd.
Weather here... at LEAST flurries EVERY day since last Wednesday.
3" this past Friday. All I can think about is everything which needs
to be accomplished outside, but I'm NOT doing it in 40-degree
weather. If the lawn service calls about the aeration, I will have to
put them off until the raking is done. Once they do it, you cannot
rake because of all the dog-poo-like clods.
I also do not want to mow (like THAT'S happening any time soon)
until the raking is done.
The old non-starting lawn mower was taken into the shop. They
said the cylinders were badly scored, very low compression. I had
the option of having a used engine installed (about $275) or just
put the money toward a new one. So now, there is a brand new
mower waiting for its Maiden Voyage.
