btw - do you have an aldi in your area? somehow, i remember your complaining about the price of avocados quite some time ago

Yes, Tibs, we do. IDK if it's worth the extra trip and going to TWO stores, because that's what I'd end up having to do. And they're in opposite directions.

since the aldi is 25 miles away i make the trip maybe once a month and try to stock up on non-perishables - for instance, dh likes the pecan shortbread cookies.
the savings on those alone covers the gas, so the rest is gravy!
25 miles is local to us............. Speaking of that there will be no more long trips to Harbor Freight. We now have a brand new store local--22 miles.
