Took a little walk, just to get some movement going. Can't go far. Not supposed to get heart pumping a lot while hole in head heals!

Tomorrow (19sep) will be two years for Clare in the household, so I'll
probably stop by again with a traditional "happy anniversary" post.

Bella's dental/oral surgery did not provide positive results. She has two
squamous cell carcinomas in her lower jaw. Only half of the jawbone
remains (which explains why all lower teeth were pulled.... or more
accurately... simply finger-pulled out). The vet said it's advanced and
Bella will simply stop eating and drinking at some point, and ongoing pain
is a given. I planned to have her euthanized today... but since she IS
eating, drinking, pooping and ......, and seems genuinely unaffected
(so far), we will keep her for a while longer. Once I see any sign of
obvious distress, she will be leaving us. Doc said a couple/few weeks, tops.
Oh... and jury "duty" is not until next week. Monday and/or Tuesday,
at the most. I did NOT fill in "email address" or "last 4 SS numbers" on
the form. I'll START my 'tude performance with "why do you need to
know?"

Shame on people that take animals and then DON'T take care of them. I'm SO glad you found her and have had the time to show her love. As you well know, she'll let you know when she is ready. Sending our "Bear" hugs and tons of love to you and Bella. Thanks for looking out for her.
