Bad news 3 has come down the pike but it was expected and I'm glad to have #3 done and gone.Got the notice yesterday my SS will be a whopping $667. Have to think about options but not now. I'm fine for now.

Going back to yesterday's conversation. Pre-born gender-reveals are fun. However, gender-reveals on the internet can be hilarious. Such a massive shift of assumptions and attitudes. I remember having difficulty making those shifts while reading fiction, until I got tuned into the subtle nuances. And does it really even matter?

Fran, are you sure that is all you are qualified for? I get that much, with no savings or investments. Plugged into all the programs available, I am living comfortably, except for basic travel to see relatives. The biggest pain is being unable to visit my children, in Missouri and California.

i'm sorry, (((frannie))) - so many fall into this trap not realizing the consequences later. bil up in ny is self-employed too and probably cutting corners wherever he can .... sighdh here did the same till i put a stop to it once i took over payroll.

I have some options open to me but I'm in no hurry to decide. I'm quite ok for now. Too be honest I was already considering my desire to be here another winter. It's miserable cold and up here we get at least twice the amount of snow that the Keene area gets. Not to mention I can't pay the taxes on that income and also pay bills and eat. I also have no good neighbors left around me but do have a couple that live on my road.

Heather (gd) loves this house. She's after me to rent it.take your time looking at all your options - but getting off that hill might be the way to go
