Ok, so pulling the plug on cable FINALLY. Hulu now has Hulu live with all my local channels for $50, compared to cable for $110, PLUS I get old and new shows, old and new movies, etc. Very happy. Cable company refuses to cancel until I return their precious box, EVEN though they can just turn off the service from their office. Anyway, need to find out HOW to switch speaker plugs from receiver to back of tv, I guess??? In other words, taking them from cable box to tv, right? If no one can help, I think there is a thread somewhere that may help me o_O

Do you want the audio to come from the TV? Or a stereo? Or what?

    P.S.
    How do you get internet?
Where does Hulu run? Smart TV? Computer?
I'm really trying to keep this simple. I have a stereo receiver, stereo speakers, but I don't know where to put them when they are removed from cable box.
Internet is through same company, but I am keeping that. Hulu is on Smart TVs.

just look at the path in use now and eliminate the middleman (cable box) - before you try, mark the cables in use now ;)

OK, so the TV gets the signal from its Hulu app.

That means it's the TV that's sending out the sound.
The TV should have an audio OUT that you can plug into the audio IN on the stereo.
That sounds simple enough and pretty much what I figured. Just got an email from cable company, and they then raised the rate for my phone by $30. Yes, I still have a landline. Need to talk Marsha out of that one! I am really angry at this point. They get you one way or another. I told Marsha yesterday that this is probably what they would do.

Hi KC and same to you....:)
