And a pleasant Thursday "good morning" greeting to all!

    ..........

Monday was a casino visit with my Casino Hag. I got to spin the Birthday Wheel for
a chance at 5, 10, 15 or 25 dollars in free machine spins. $5, naturally. Finished
the day at +$2.92. I hope to not spend it all in one place.

    ..........

Tuesday was the START of Spring cleanup in the yard. One word: "Ugh".

    ..........

Yesterday was the usual 2-year cardio ultrasound. At least I got away with NOT
needing a contrast IV this time. But, there was another disconcerting high-for-
me BP reading. When I got home, I checked it again and only a few points elevated.
Still did not like it, so tried again 5 minutes later. Way up. 15 minutes later, still
up. I think the worry about it exacerbates the readings.

    And "Dad Wednesday".

    ..........

Today is the ultrasound follow-up. I'm sure part of the discussion will be the BP followed
by the anti-smoking talk. (I'll work with my primary doctor on both those problems in
May.) I just want to know the results of the ultrasound... and hope to keep on the
every-two-year thing... not have it become more frequent.

Right after that, picking up new lenses on old frames. :) I'm hoping Miss "Flair" [tm
Attypops 2019] is there again! I suppose I should finish the description from
last time (in case I have to start another flair saga.) ...

... heading up from the Brooklyn voicebox, we see Amy Winehouse-like eyeliner:

And, to top it ALL off (literally)... an [I Dream Of] Jeannie fez-like cap with long flowing
blonde hair coming out the top:

It wasn't pink OR that large... but the hair was much more voluminous.

    ..........

Other than all that... the same old same old.

And I'll bet the WHOLE deal with the ultra sound is really exasperating, huh?
Well, it's a pain because it's TWO visits. One for the procedure, then another for the
results. ANY appointment is just intrusive and invasive. But, we're all getting older
and can ONLY expect things to start wearing out. Ah... memories of our carefree
    youth and vitality!

(PS: In the past, they would hand me a warm "moist" washcloth to clean up that goopy
gel stuff. This time it was room temp and dry. I lay that on the insurance companies.)

BTW: Did you know that the word "moist" is the "most-hated word" according to may
    surveys?

Can't believe you have to have a second appointment for the ultrasound. Speaking of "memories", have you ever thought about writing your memoirs? You have SO many stories and you write so well

    Pics, or it didn't happen.

    :D
    Oh, but it did.

Picked up new glasses/lenses. Like with all new glasses, have to learn to walk
again. I reserved making the final payment until I'm sure these will be OK for
everyday/regular use. He made a screwed-up face at my balk of payment.

Still going to use "computer glasses" for monitor/TV use.

"SHE" was there, but just heading out to lunch. Much more sedate today.
Tan "elf boots", slacks and a white lacy shawl-like top. The hair also went
from blonde to a reddish light brown.

Well we managed the 40's today. High of 41. Still gonna be in the teens tonight but you can't win em all.

Heather has decided she doesn't want to put anymore money into the truck that tried to kill her twice so far this year. They have applied for a loan to buy an SUV.
