Good morning snails.

I'm glad you have options.Cable bill going up again.
Went up about $25.00 few months back and now my contract expires in Sept after talking to Verizon it will cost me another $25.00. ...... tired of being abused.
Called the only other provider in my area Optimum base price is much cheaper but equipment charges, fee's and taxes my final cost the same and with them service goes down a lot.
Think I'll keep the internet while replacing the phone with magic jack. Had it before and it worked very well. My amplifier outdoor antenna broke few months ago. Order a replacement yesterday. At the end I'll be saving at least $50,00 a month and won't feel like am being raped each month.

Good morning MMGood morning snails.

I've been thinking about VOIP too. Right now we're on "triple play" and their base costs are just too damn high. Maybe an "internet only" option (usually has basic cable with it) and VOIP and other services.Think I'll keep the internet while replacing the phone with magic jack.

No headache is a plus. So glad it was nothing more serious.Back.....huge corneal scratch....a sometimes side effect from the surgery. I usually do get at least ONE side effect to stuff. Must be drawn to me. He numbed up my eye, so it's not hurting, but said it will wear off. He also put a clear contact lens in, which is supposed to help, also. I see him again tomorrow at 1:40 to check on things. Anesthetic is already starting to wear off, but the contact lens is supposed to help, and they will remove it tomorrow. Have to used antibiotic every 2 hours til bedtime. Fun times, Folks...but I'm so relieved it's NOT an infection. That could have been a disaster.or a retinal detachment!
Still quite blurry, too. Oh well, definitely could have been WAY worse. And, NO, I do NOT have a headache....![]()
patience will be the key here now that you ended up with a scratch - maybe pass on this link to your surgeon?Still quite blurry, too
I was being sarcastic. Definitely a headache....No headache is a plus. So glad it was nothing more serious.
That's what I'm thinking. He is VERY well respected and loved as a surgeon, but I kept thinking, he must be hungry and on his feet all morning. Maybe he was tired and didn't get that drape on properly. Will be talking to him about that at next surgery. Do NOT want to go through this again, for sure...patience will be the key here now that you ended up with a scratch - maybe pass on this link to your surgeon?

Cable bill went up 30 bucks thanks to "package expired" crap. And I'm dumping Netflix too I think. That saves $13 per month.
Grrrr.
I don't want all their cable crap "features" or to be forced onto some quadruple play crap. I want them to lower costs, not add more crap/junk.
Sound like your on-top of it NOW! Great hang in there.Back.....huge corneal scratch....a sometimes side effect from the surgery. I usually do get at least ONE side effect to stuff. Soon as I finished making my last post call Verizon and spoke to billing dept. Wanted to lock in internet only. When I got finished talking to them I got it all for $50.00 less then I would be paying in Sept when contract expired. Actually cheaper then am paying right now for the same services.
Got an extra $10.00 off being a vet and another $10.00 off with auto pay. After it is done it should be $101.00 fees and taxes. Better then before.
Taking directly with the billing dept made the difference.
