Full day already here.
Mom (so me too)-> 11:00 leave for Dr. Appointment
Dr. Visit, in-office test, 2 other tests for today ordered plus new med.
Drive to get 2 tests. Get them.
Stop for lunch.
Drive to pharmacy to pick up meds.
Home. 3:00

Not bad! Dr visit, 3 tests, and new meds, plus lunch and travel all in 4 hours. I think it's a new record for us.

Tired. Explained things 20,000 times. ;)

Hi snails. :)

    poor weggies! ;)
I would be QUITE sure the cashiers are taking the brunt of the change and have
    heard/seen it all by now.

People are yacking about the filthy reusable bags (people bringing in cockroaches,
stinkbugs and ants), the 5c paper bag charge as a "tax" (Wegmans will donate that
money to a local food pantry charity), and the list goes on and on (and on and on
    and still further on).

Yet... YET... nobody has really voiced concern over BJs, Costco, Sam's Club, Aldi,
PriceRite or Price Chopper that have NEVER even HAD bags. How do they deal with
    that?!?!

They should just go old-school, and switch back to paper bags.

Customers have the option to request paper bags. At 5c a pop.

My memories of paper bags include them ripping and tearing. No really
easy way to carry more than 2 at a time (think: when you get home and
    multiple trips car>house>car>house).

I'll just adapt to the 99c reusable bags with handles... which, by the way,
are 100% NOT recyclable at end-of-life. Nor will they compost. Nor will
they degrade (plastic content) in our lifetime. Hmmmm... problem
    solved? Or new problem created?

And if you ARE carrying 2 paper bags, how do you manage to put they key
in the door??? Do we magically sprout another arm and hand?

The paper bags COULD have handles (think "Trader Joe's"), but that would
more than likely up the price from 5c to 7c?... 8c???

BTW:  and  ... for those not getting it.
