Wednesday greetings to all!

To start the day: Forgot to put water in the coffee maker.

At 10h30, it was settled that I would get to Dad's about an hour early to take him
for a haircut. He wasn't sold on the idea, and neither was I, really. But, "NOW"
is going to be as good as things get for a bit. Anyway, he called me back around
11h00 and said forget the haircut. Okee dokee.

He really does not have much hair. I suppose I could take some equipment over and
do a quick trim. It would save him some $, at the very least.

Not sure what he may need from the store as all the basic staples for a week were
bought on Sunday. If they have any to-go meals, I may just get dinner there rather
than a restaurant. I made him a St. Pat's meal (enough for 3, actually), but that's
for HIM. I don't need to be gnawing on his food.

Greetings back atcha, Bear  I had the same coffee maker problem yesterday.
It's a PITS way to START the day.

It takes over 20 minutes to correct that mistake... and 20 minutes SEEMS
a lot longer at that time of day. :) Well, the cats ate earlier, at least.

dh seemed to be ok but too little time to really tell. staff brought him outside but too chilly for him to stay more than a few minutes. this lockdown is a farce, imo. also, cnas without masks or gloves. bypassed store will do tomorrow
    Farce in my opinion also.

I can see why you'd be upset, Tibs. :(

But this thing hit hard one LTC facility in Washington already. They're trying to protect the most vulnerable. There's added concern about surface contact too.
they aren't protecting a thing - staff goes home every night and most have kids/family. they can't do social distancing .... sigh
and then they return in the morning - temp below 100 they go in even though we now know plenty of positive cases never ran a fever

No fever? No way to know if someone has it then :(
Someone has to take care of all those people though, DD is a CNA and has to go through a whole rigmarole every time she goes to work and when she leaves.
