The Wegmans by my Dad is forcing "social distancing" at checkout. EVERYBODY must get
in one VERY long line... then you get assigned a specific cashier... but ONLY after the
previous person has left. They had most checkouts open and the single line moved at a
decent clip.

NY malls closing.

Almost ALL non-essential businesses limited to 50% on-site workforce.

(Just got home, so apologies for any old ^ news ^ .)

Most restaurants (non-chain) appeared dark. Not even bothering with take-out or delivery.

they aren't protecting a thing - staff goes home every night and most have kids/family. they can't do social distancing .... sigh
and then they return in the morning - temp below 100 they go in even though we now know plenty of positive cases never ran a fever
I know!

But the ODDS are much much higher if they let visitors in, in addition to the min necessary staff.

I mean, the staff can't be expected to live there, can they? And they have to be there!

I know it sucks. I'm praying for you and DH (and everyone).

I file it under "best they can do".

Good morning, Bear & Dale

Good morning lovely and handsome Snails, Tibs, Mighty and Gracie :)

Hope you’re well Gracie.
Thank you, Dale......we're both doing well as is the rest of our family......taking the necessary precautions and even going so far as to hold a Lysol wipe over my mod as I vape.......and naturally constantly wiping the drip tips.
Having a new water heater installed this morning....Charlie, the plumber, is acutely aware of COVID and wears gloves and takes the necessary precautions. His brother is a physician in Conn., and it is crazy up there according to him.
