Good evening snails :)

‘We had a small pork sirloin roast with green beans and corn.

i ate about a pound of squash all by myself ;)

Yesterday was fried chicken filet sandwich, with tomato and pickles on toasted buns. (I skipped the lettuce and fruit, IDK why now, just wasn't that hungry).

Nothing like you guys but it’s in the 40,s here today with lots of wind. Still cloudy.
That is probably cold for you. We're done with the sub zero nights. 8 degrees tonight but it will be warmer nights after. Big snowstorm is gonna hit NH tomorrow afternoon but right now it looks like most will miss us.

    Sounds deep!

I was actually getting worried because we were much warmer than we normally get. I don’t like this cold either but at least it’s normal.

    OK, I'm an idiot.

GF came by the other day and said her driver-front tire was low (pressure sensors in car told her this). So I put SOME air in, and then checked it, and it was OK. Sensor still said low. So she already had an appointment to have it checked, and I said they can check the sensor.

Now, what REALLY happened, is that in her last oil change, she had the tires rotated, but they didn't update the sensor locations. So....it was the passenger-rear tire that was low. I should have checked all the tires, but I didn't know she had the tires rotated recently.

Anyway, so she took it in yesterday AND THEY DIDN'T TAKE THE TIRE OFF to test for leaks. Grrrr. So she'll have to go back again if it's loosing air (slooooow leak though). But they did reset the sensor locations.

And in my own defense, I've not had a car with tire-pressure sensors on it, that's a new thing these days, and I've been care-giving at low $$$$ trying to get by, so they've had them since 2008 model year I guess.

    Duh.

    Yeah.
I looked it up to find the year they started that stuff. ;)

So there were all these SUV rollover crashes due to bad tire pressure. So they mandated at least some kind of idiot light. The better/newer systems tell you the pressure for each tire on a display. AND last time I put air in it, we used that to double check my tire gauge and they matched up. So it was a setup! ;) If I did that for a living, I guess I'd know to ask "Did you have the tires rotated within the last month since we put air in last?" ;) But no. lol.

I should have checked all of them anyway. Duh.
