Yeah, so? Are you worried about the trees falling on them due to snow weight?
When I moved here in 2003 we had tree's all over the place - NO. Its the wires themselves that can not take the weight and the transforms that have blown up in the past. We seldom get this much snow. Last time was when Bloomberg was out of town on vacation.

    OK, I'm an idiot.

GF came by the other day and said her driver-front tire was low (pressure sensors in car told her this). So I put SOME air in, and then checked it, and it was OK. Sensor still said low. So she already had an appointment to have it checked, and I said they can check the sensor.

Now, what REALLY happened, is that in her last oil change, she had the tires rotated, but they didn't update the sensor locations. So....it was the passenger-rear tire that was low. I should have checked all the tires, but I didn't know she had the tires rotated recently.

Anyway, so she took it in yesterday AND THEY DIDN'T TAKE THE TIRE OFF to test for leaks. Grrrr. So she'll have to go back again if it's loosing air (slooooow leak though). But they did reset the sensor locations.

And in my own defense, I've not had a car with tire-pressure sensors on it, that's a new thing these days, and I've been care-giving at low $$$$ trying to get by, so they've had them since 2008 model year I guess.

    Duh.
Not sure how this makes YOU the idiot :?: Seems to me the person that rotated the tires is at fault, they should have known. Or your GF could have mentioned that about the rotation.

Oh, yeah, him. ;) She just didn't think about it.

But I should have realized once I put some air in, and nothing changed, to eliminate the "stuck sensor" idea (IDK if they even stick) and check the other tires. So that's my bad for not using my noggin. ;)

But when I say "idiot", I don't mean it literally nor is it usually extreme. It's not a good word, I throw it around too often, in the vernacular rather than in the literal. "I'm an idiot" is pretty common in these parts I guess. Of course, nobody means that literally.

Ah ... I see, good to know since I know you’re not an idiot ;)
