G'mornin, snails!

TGIF!

My lawn is getting aerated and (over)seeded today, but I didn't have a chance to water it. Getting notification the night before isn't really ideal, heh. Oh well.

and that's a good thing for the aeration! ;) watering when you get home, and after the job is done, will bring the most benefits!

morning, mad!

It's so beautiful here today so we're doing more work outside.....hubby's idea of doing a 9x18 section and then stopping is one we're staying with for now. Tendonitis is flaring up in left elbow so no more raking, just picking up!

Good idea to take it easy,Gracie:) Better idea is to take a day of rest.
I agree with Frannie. I know when tendonitis flares in my elbow, it's difficult to settle it down. Usually need a shot. Hope yours goes away with some rest!! :)

I won't be able to water before they aerate.

and that's a good thing if they are using the larger aerator that pulls out plugs - you don't want a wet ground for that ;) even for the smaller one my fellas always told me watering after is much more beneficial. so stop fretting! :D

I have the aeration done in Spring when the ground is all but
guaranteed to be soft enough for maximum depth... but not
soggy to leave track marks. I even have them eschew the good
areas and double-aerate the problem ones. Then over seed.
And hope what follows are a few good drenching rains (which
did NOT happen this past year).

    Oh... and back! :)
