Corporatist ....-holes at the bank closed Mom's estate account (which is there to receive her tax rebates). It was opened on 5-3 and closed on 6-17 and I just found out about it. NOTHING on the statements, so I assume it auto closed due to zero balance and not being funded. So now I have to go get it re-opened and throw some cash at it, so it can stay open to get her taxes back. Hope nothing got rejected.
Jerks. I mean, I'm doing all this stuff on a shoe-string.
No warning, nothing.
The G.D. Gubment takes 12 to 16 weeks to process paperwork (had to be mailed).

Hey, people. I have an appt for next tues. 7/6. I probably could have gotten in earlier, but I'm a new patient. There are benefits of being a new patient when it comes to your local orthopedic doctor. Plus, it's 4th of July wknd. It's one of the biggest beach wknds of the year having Rehoboth Beach & Ocean City Maryland close by--with it being a 4 day wknd: Fri-Mon. And it seems every doctor has a beach house.

have you managed to pull up a stool to your stove?I'm having a protein shake. That's it!!! I have to limit my calories because I'll gain weight if I am sitting around doing nothing. Dinner is baked chicken breast, jasmine rice, and asparagus sauteed in a little olive oil and sprinkled with some Kosher salt.

It's easier to stand. I have an L-shaped kitchen. It's challenging. I can take everything i need out of the refrigerator and place it on the kitchen counter. then i move those items as far as my arms will reach and hobble over and repeat until i get everything where i need them.
It sucks if i forget something because i have to do the whole process over for 1 item.
My knee is feeling a little better and I'm able to put more pressure on my leg. There wasn't a lot of swelling, but what was there is coming down with ice. Also taking motrin for inflammation. It's encouraging, but we'll see.
