Agreed.
And I'm not sure it is the same as it used to be. But then again, neither are my aging taste buds, so it could be that. Still good though. You can find the recipe for the 11 herbs and spices online and make your own knock-off version. You won't get their gravy and coleslaw though. They have the best coleslaw, IMHO. I cannot duplicate it.

Agreed, i luv their coleslaw. And to get close to the taste of their chicken, u have to pressure fry the chicken.

morning, frannie, dale and that sponge ;)

ahem, careful there - i'm sure our bear isn't the only one with a devious mind and i won't even dare to tell you what association he came up with
if you're brave google 'the meaning'

Yes, I know. It's been around a long time. There's a famous (shock jock) disc jockey in florida called Bubba the Love Sponge. It's just a play off of that. Pepper's moving on from it shortly.:D

But until then, I'm going to have a little fun.

p.s. as far as Bear goes that's his world and not mine. we can all have different meanings for words in whatever world we live in.:)

By the way, my Tarheels won last night.:) If they win their next game tomorrow and Duke wins today, they'll play each other in the final four next Saturday. That'll be huge, people. I'll have to go to the sports bar for that one.

p.s. One of my most memorable moments in a sports bar happened in North Carolina when Duke played Kentucky in 1992 to determine who went to the final four. The blue devils trailed Kentucky 103 to 102 with 2.1 seconds remaining. Grant Hill threw the ball the length of the court to Christian Laettner at the foul line. Laettner dribbled once and turned and sunk the basket at the buzzer. I've never seen so many grown men that didn't know each other hugging--including the pepper.

p.s. tibby, how old were you when that happened?:D

Did u bother to read what I said?:-x I'm obviously familiar with the terminology. It's still a play on Bubba's name. I wasn't trying to get into the weeds with this, but unfortunately, you've carried this way too far.:-x I'm putting you on ignore for 24 hours.

the boy was 4 and still had a few years to go before he attended basketball camp at unc ;) i think i still got a couple of balls around signed by coach k

I met coach k at LAX (I think '95) and then flew back with him and the team to Atlanta. He was really kind and took the time on the flight back to speak with me for several minutes. It's why I root for Duke, even though I am a tarheel fan--obviously not when they play each other.

p.s. if u have something to say, u better say it quickly because I am getting ready to put you on ignore.
