Title transfer of mom's car. Old system...I had a newer title than they showed for some reason, but they confirmed that it was good. Only took about 30 minutes, for whatever they did.

Anyway, the estate is nearly done, I just have to send the closing letter and one more letter. All in all it wasn't too bad, I'd much rather have had an attorney do it all, but cash flow was initially an issue. So it took a while (I took my time for cash flow reasons, among others) and have now finished it. Valuations, and paperwork and fees, mostly. Used an attorney for the property (Real Estate) transfer, so that cost an extra 400 bucks above all the fees, but it is done now. It's a quagmire of forms and my county doesn't have a "kit" for doing it like some others do, so there's a bit to figure out yourself. The trick is figuring out what you have to do as much as it is doing it. But in my case it was pretty simple, mostly a bunch of filings.

Good morning Tibby, snails :)
