where do you get that 1% in general? that's sold as low fat quark ;) not the most popular one in germany. speise quark is usually around 20% or you can go all the way ;)

half a pound would have been easy to stash in the freezer, atty :( even if there's plenty of ground beef already. or was it frozen once before?
No, it was just at the end-of-fresh already, so why bother? Had I done what I should have and froze it while fresher, it would have been OK.
