It’s been over 100 every day for a while here with no rain.

Still ened up being just short of 30 minutes when I'm expecting
a call about the car. I do not have "call waiting".
Maybe I'm too polite.
I have a landline, so it's always charged.
(Also have cell, but that number is a matter of national
security... gotta beat it outta me.)
I hate phones, too.
The ONLY main course I get there (for decades)
is the Bourbon Street Steak. As rare as they will
legally prepare it. That's how I word it.

Freshly-repaired vehicle snug and cozy in driveway.
I made SURE to mention the shuttle service to be
a deciding factor in patronizing them. It appeared
they made note of that (pen, their copy of invoice).
