Don't let em kid ya Fran (Kids these days!). Desktops/laptops are still better than those damn personal-interruption-devices, I don't care how "smart" they're supposed to be. But it can be handy to have other things on the phone besides phone-functionality.

Had to leave work early Thursday and take Steve to the hospital. He fell and thought he broke his leg. No fracture but possible torn meniscus. Will be another week to get in to see the ortho.
Lordy, he can't walk and has no sense to figure out how to 'do something'. They did give him a brace and crutches...

I'm going out to the pub where i got the $25 gift certificate tonight. They have a real chef there that changes the menu out every week. I'm deciding btwn 1)CAJUN FLANK STEAK, hand cut beach fries salt & vinegar seasoning lemon-thyme crème fraiche jambalaya salsa or 2)HARISSA ROASTED CHICKEN THIGHS israeli couscous tomato-cucumber salad swiss chard|tahini yogurt peanut gremolata, or maybe just a salad with a couple beers 3)CHARRED OCTOPUS SALAD baby arugula|frisee|feta|cucumbers|tomatoes|olives pickled onions|capers|grilled baguette|lemon-pepper emulsion.

The brands and models offered by TracFone could be JUST FINE for
you. I've had mine (a TracFone) since 2017, but it's about time to
get a new one.
Apparently what they offer online is based on your zip code.
Hus got the Samsung "whatever model" ($279) last week and I'm
considering the same one. He went through the number transfer
and moving all his data over things with no problem.
Don't downplay TracFone... I've been pretty happy with their service
over the years. Nobody needs an "everybodyPhone" with amazingly
high monthly payments... except to say LOOK AT ME!!!... just LOOK
at me. Saps.
