Oooops... somewhere along the lines I got the distinct impression Bear was a... NVM!!!Depends on who your post was about. Bear's preferred pronoun is "he". But if you were posting about someone else, like Dale who you quoted or Tibs or Fran...."she".
Welcome to non-gender-neutral languages. Fun, right?
But then again, you enjoy waking up at 3 am, so...
i realize that - puzzled how/why this repair guy took off while your 'back was turned' it was explained to me numerous times that without my signature there would be no reimbursement for the warranty repair.Well... the actual "repair" was performed and operates.
It was/is the total lack of a complete return to as-was
condition.

MORE bad service and/or behaviour. When you
have been wronged, there is no error in speaking
up and out... especially when money is involved.
(Service and parts were "free", but I also pay for the
extended warranty.)
I did call the manufacturer and let them know what
happened. Pretty sure it will go nowhere with them,
so there's always Yelp, Google reviews and the
appliance place's FaceBook page. If I was a member
of Angi, Thumbtack, or HomeAdvisor, I'd go there as
well.
My error was not taking a few pictures.
