the winter blues are here. it's 5pm and almost dark. it's over. i can't find a reason to continue. why have i persevered this far to find myself in total misery with darkness surrounding me and closing in on me? why? why? why? that is the question.

will try to stretch things out to finish at 6:30. it'll take a while to get back on track. geoff and the parrots are the worst, wish they would leave our time alone. standard or daylight savings, i don't care - just settle on one once and for all!

Hi Tibs!!! We feed our GSD's and cat's at the same time year round using DST. That way they never get off track. We figured why mess with the animals schedule.and everybody at odds with that time change - geoff was braying at 2 pm
FWIW... Marco Rubio introduced a bill this last March for making DST permanent. It was passed in the Senate on the same day. But, (always a but isn't there?)... it's been sitting on the desk in the House ever since. I hope they're all grumbling and belly aching about this hour back to standard time come Monday morning and pass the darn bill.
Changing time is so dumb.

Although DST has its perks, the bad outweighs the good in many ways. It severely affects our circadian rhythm, is bad for farming and utilities, which affect our bills AND the economy...
I vote STANDARD time all the way. People lived with that for thousands of years and DST was only fully established between 1966-1970
