Sub sammy. Working on a coolant leak at lower radiator hose where it meets the thermostat housing, which is stupidly on the bottom and everything above is in the way if you want to access it from the top. Grrr. Stealership design methods.

Car back from transmission shop; fixed by Wed. Only had to rent a car for 2 days. "Only" $1300.00, so not too bad compared to 3600 for complete rebuild. Not shifting great though, but have appointment at the stealership that I think I'll keep. Problem was that they can't get me in until the end of the month, and the car rental would have been around 1700 just to "wait" for them. So transmission place instead.

I hope to God that all these "challenges" will let up a bit. Been something every week.

Goodnight snails.

I watch these notices due to GF's medicines/medical and just general awareness. Anyway:
Lundberg Family Farms Sustainable Wild Blend Gourmet Rice
    ....
The recalled bags of rice carry the UPC number of 73416-00430, lot code of 231004, and the best by date of October 4, 2024, said the FDA.

The affected products were sold in grocery stores in Arizona, California, Florida, Maine, New Hampshire, Oregon and Wisconsin, noted the recall notice.
Some states are "snail" states. It's an "interesting" brand of rice, but be aware.

Also there's a listeria outbreak in at least 12 states associated with eating at delis.
    https://abcnews.go.com/Health/cdc-warns-listeria-outbreak-linked-deli-meat-left/story?id=112110667

Just thought I'd share, particularly that last one.
