I watch these notices due to GF's medicines/medical and just general awareness. Anyway:

Rice sold in 7 states recalled due to possible contamination of 'rodent origin'

The Food and Drug Administration recently classified a recall of rice as a "Class II" recall. The rice is believed to be contaminated by objects of "rodent origin."

Some states are "snail" states. It's an "interesting" brand of rice, but be aware.

Also there's a listeria outbreak in at least 12 states associated with eating at delis.

Just thought I'd share, particularly that last one.

It's incredibly scary at the amount of recalls for all kinds of foods this past year. It's like an explosion of bad stuff getting into all different kinds of foods. shop wisely.
