Remember... they already have your CC number, expiration date
and security code. What more damage could they do with a scan
of a license? (I just checked and mine does not have SSN.)
    Nor does mine :thumb:

I have no idea what future harm could happen ... basically just HATE self photos :p

But yeah, once we buy something these days there is an awful lot of information about us out there.

Have somebody else take the picture. Then it's not a selfie. And you won't hate it.

There certainly *is* a lot of info out there.

    ..........

Time to prep for "Dad Sunday". Later!

The FDA can all go shove it. What millennium do they think they're in? Besides, "the internet" needs to solve this whole age-verification thing and society needs a reasonableness standard for it, rather than just reactionary item-specific nanny-laws.

    Grrr.

All they have to do is say "use adult-only shipping".
Some loser 22-year-old still living at home - along with his delinquent
14-year-old brother - could sign FOR somebody underage.

And regardless of what "safeguards" the FDA wants in place, people
will just work around them in some way. It's been going on, is now
going on, and will always go on. But it is WE who take it on the chin.

they have ;) see bear's prior post - don't know much about his other examples but lexis-nexis never came cheap :?:
    *LOL!!!* True story!!!...

Back around 1987-ish, I was given access to the Kodak business research
portal to Lexis-Nexis. In my "spare time", I was to do lookups on the
competitors on a variety of topics.

What my boss neglected to tell me is that each lookup had an associated
cost. (It was not "all you can eat" access... it was a la carte.)

My then-partner, two friends and I were planning a 2 week road trip to
visit various amusement parks and stuff through NJ, PA, OH. So... I used
Lexis-Nexis to research the parks, lodging, routes... the whole thing.

It resulted in over $5,000 in searches. With each search delineated on the
bill along with search key words!!!

    :: GUFFAW!!! ::

    Ooops! Caught 'ya! BUSTED!!!

Poor Ty-grr. Yeah, they get depressed at the loss of a family member too. He probably didn't get to see T'mato after death...so to him, T just "vanished". He'll be depressed for a while, missing the other one. Just do the best you can.
