lexis-nexis never came cheap
*LOL!!!* True story!!!...
Back around 1987-ish, I was given access to the Kodak business research
portal to Lexis-Nexis. In my "spare time", I was to do lookups on the
competitors on a variety of topics.
What my boss
neglected to tell me is that each lookup had an associated
cost. (It was not "all you can eat" access... it was a la carte.)
My then-partner, two friends and I were planning a 2 week road trip to
visit various amusement parks and stuff
through NJ, PA, OH. So... I used
Lexis-Nexis to research the parks, lodging, routes... the whole thing.
It resulted in over $5,000 in searches. With each search delineated on the
bill along with search key words!!!
