Well, it was a bust....:(. shop closed permanently. Too hot to go shopping around. Found a few more online that are fairly local. Will be calling and checking them out....
Oh dear! Well, it will give you more time to research on line and narrow it down......do you know if you want a 26" or a 28"? Definitely research the seats; make sure you get a comfy one!

OK...

Just did my very first try at rebuilding.

People consider that task "fun"???

... took about 1 hour
... dual coil deck
... Aromamizer
... ended up at .39 ohm via CM ohm meter
... .37 ohm as per mod

Put some 100% VG (first time for that) Nude Nicotine "tobacco".

I suppose it's good... nothing apples-to-apples which to compare.

100% VG causes a house to become "hazy" even after just a few hits.
Congratulations, Bear!

Definitely want a comfy seat. And, yes, I found a place not too far. Gonna go when the weather breaks. They seem to have everything I need....:)

When did set screws become "grub screws"? @AttyPops

If you tighten "grub screws" too much, they cut wire.

If you do not tighten them enough, the wire comes out.

The wire is *MUCH* more unforgiving than I had imagined.

When you are coiling wire on the "jig", just let the tool do the work.
I ended up with a few tries that looked like electric range heating
    elements. Spirals.

(Just talking to myself here. Rambling.)

    Oh... and any spool of wire will go **S P R O I N G ! ! !** and unravel
if you do not keep it in check. What a pain. (I wrapped a rubber band
    around the spool.)

    OMG.

My "Casino Hag" just dropped off 10 boxes (or so) of CRAP for Hus' church's
"new to you" sale. (I should go through it all and toss stuff the obviously
SHOULD be tossed.) It's *my* chore to take it all over to the church on
Thursday, but I'm thinking it will be a two-day thing. Hus will be working
the furniture area during the sale... guess the old church ladies cannot
    lift much of anything.

I put together 5 boxes of our own crap to donate. Dad gave me all of Mom's
jewelry (such that it is). I did pick out one ring that appears to have a real
diamond, 4 pieces that I brought back from P'town which I *know* is not cheap
costume stuff, and a bracelet and necklace that I will give to that cat lady who
    tends to the ferals (cat-related).

Wish the weather has been cooler... there's a crap-load of stuff in the attic
that could go. I'll do that in Fall and have it ready for NEXT YEAR'S sale.

Just talking to myself again. Disregard me. Blah blah blah.

I *need* to know if he is friendly with other cats (ie:
Ty-Grr) and if he has been content to stay indoors.

    Waiting for reply.

The reply said he is OK with dogs, but they do not know about
other cats. And he's been happy staying indoors.

    Hmmm.

I really SHOULD discuss w/ hubs before doing anything. He remains
of the mind OreoFeral will suddenly become people-friendy and want
to spend time indoors. I, on the other hand, am more realistic and
think if he has not made any progress in the last 18 months, then it
    probably will not happen.

Even if it does, 3 cats would not be overwhelming. We've been there
before. OK... it could be 4 cats (max) when my Dad's ends up here.

Congratulations Bear!!! :w00t: :thumb: It'll get easier :)

And no, not EVERYONE considers building coils "fun" ; I for sure don't. However it is going to become necessary probably.

Well, you know my hands are a tad shaky and don't always want to open and close properly. Surely you could help a friend in need?. And, as you can see, my eyes aren't that great, either...
You *will* need decent eyesight as well. Feeding that cotton (or whatEVER
you use) through the coil is like threading a needle. Not sure if one of these
    will work:
