mouthpiece, there is an adapter that screws in, then the smaller mouthpiece
is supposed to press into place. Nope. (I will search the forum for possible
posts about this.)

I have tried: juice, spit, tapping it with a small mallet.
Next up... workbench vise. (But that will probably just break it.)
Maybe I'll just stick with the default drip tip.

I have the Avocado also, and I have no problem inserting one of my glass or other types of driptips without an adapter.
Not sure that's what you're talking about, and if it isn't, well, it's still early in the am for me. Just trying, that's all.

Sounds like yours maybe has the wrong o-ring or something.
Take out the adapter and they all rattle around like a needle in a thimble. ie: fall right out.
