    G'mornin, snails!

I would rather NOT have ABS. Not sure consumers have a choice anymore. Just MORE
stuff to go bad. Plus, I do not like it.

ABS instills a false sense of security. It also allows a minimal level of performance in tires, brake disc size & material, brake pad material, caliper size, brake fluid (you get my point), be standard on a vehicle before it rolls off the assembly line.

I've modified the "brakes" (the whole system, actually) on my car and coupled with the right TIRES, the stopping distance is noticeably shorter than what it would be for an all stock parts car. But that's because the "racer" in me demands such.

My perspective is so much different, Bear. I would want an on/off button for ABS. It's not that I would rather NOT have ABS, it's that I'm so good that I don't NEED it unless there's ice. :p :p :p :banana::banana:

I shall have to stop calling neighbor PITA since he's unable to come over and be a PITA. He wants to sell his 5th wheel camper so hubs is going to bring it to the camper place for him tomorrow.
But how will we know which neighbor you are referring to?

    That's nice of him, Fran.

    Good morning snails. :)
    Good morning Atty :)

So I go to get a new coil/head out for my Sub-Tank mini...
I open it up and see that the RBA "deck" has NO SIDE HOLES for the wick to stick out. Instead, it screws onto the base rather than having a set-screw (good idea) and it has two small slits in the base for juice to get sucked in and wick on up to the coil. The "old" version has large side-holes for the "rabbit ears" to stick out of.

And due to the threading/no-set-screw change, the parts probably don't interchange.

    Huh.
