Depends on the site. Since you did google links, that's what you get.

You CAN edit them to say whatever you wish.

Just make it say

[URL=http://www.whatever.com]Your text here[/URL]

It will default to
[URL]http://www.whatever.com[/URL]

So you have to move the first ] to the end of the URL, add an equal sign in it's original place, and
then add your description
