Hubs was quoted a price of $372.00 by the pharmacy for the inhaler the Dr called in. He told them to keep it. Not to worry. Hubs has some and is breathing much better.
He called his Dr's office and asked them to prescribe something not so expensive. Well they never called back. He sees the Dr Thursday.
everyday he doesn't use his inhalers Frannie, sad to say but he is shorting his life. Please make sure he gets what he needs and doesn't run out. Just because he may breathe better one day or a couple days in a row doesn't mean the emphisema has stopped progressing honey. Go online to the website of the maker of that med and fill out the form to have them send it to him in the mail. All the major suppliers do this. His type of illness won't go away. All he can do is manage it and try to stay comfortable

Aggies he does have the right inhalers and he is using them properly. We have friends that include a few RN's plus some other helpful folks.
frannie, try aniters' way but if no luck convince hubs to go for it! i betcha anything the man wouldn't hesitate spending that money on tires if needed! tell him he needs an inhaler to keep on rolling
