Well, here's the latest. It was the consensus of the pulmonary team, the oncology team and the thoracic team that there is NO consensus. I need a pet scan. In order to get that, believe it or not, you have to be out of the hospital for 72 hours. insurance reasons I will never comprehend. Anyway, there is a little more hope that this may not be a malignancy, but it will probably be several months before we know for sure. Whatever it is, they seem to agree it is slow growing, so, I'm not in any danger. My CT Scan of abdomen was clear, which raised hopes, and my pulmonary function tests went well. Another good sign. However, they will not rule out anything this early. I am now at home and getting ready to rest, cause I sure got none there. Thank you all for your wishes, prayers, etc, and I ask that you continue to keep me in your thoughts. I know it has helped thus far. LOVE TO ALL!!

WTFrack though....why can't they just knock you out and biopsy it? PET scans now, but 72 hour wait? WTFrack?
