Well, I hope you all had a wonderful day. We had both sunshine and rain, but it was warm, which was nice. Went to the "in-laws" at 1, ate, then promptly fell asleep for well over an hour. Thankfully, they were very gracious about it.

So, good evening and goodnight Snails. Sleep well, pleasant dreams and a better tomorrow for all!!! :)
    Until tomorrow Kat :)

    Oy.

Dinner with GF & Family and Mom and Me....done.
Car dying (probably bad starter...been problematic)...done.
GF giving me a ride home...done.
Car had to pick today to die. If it was any time in the previous 7 days it would have been easy (GF was off work). But NO. It has to pick Easter Sunday to give up the ghost. You'd think it would at least do it on Good Friday ( ;) :p  )
So IDK, what I'll have time to do. But that starter is 20 years old...so.... and then there's the relay, and the wiring and the (pretty new) battery. I'm guessing it's the starter, without having done much diag yet. Sigh. Car's at her place, tools are all at my place. :/ I don't want to work on it in the road anyway, but maybe just pulling the starter and having it tested won't be too bad. Jump start didn't work...so suspect NOT the battery...either wiring/relay/or *** starter *** (slow crank, now no crank) but lights are bright.

So to add insult to injury...I came home and did my taxes. Done.

    smh.

    So HI snails. :)

    I can't really complain...other than the timing. ;)
But I guess it's never a good time.

    Thanks for dessert, Dale. :)
There are many things we complain about that we really don't have a good reason to ... it's just human nature ;)

    I'd be complaining too!

The good news is that a local parts store has starter in stock (but it's re-manufactured :( ) for about 75 bucks ON SALE for 25% off. Still not 100% sure it's the starter, but since mine is 20 years old, battery is only a few months old...so...I may just try it for "fun" and see. Could still be wiring or relay... My voltmeter leads probably won't reach it...so not a mechanic but...since the jump start didn't do it and most of the rest of all electrical stuff seems to be working OK, might just swap it out.

    (thinking out loud)

Hiya Fran. Did DH recover from his B-Day? ;)
