Surgery is probably postponed. Dr. to see me at 11, but thinks he'll postpone until all cleared up, whatever it is......Leaving now, as I have to stop at attorney's office first!

A bit late, but TGIF! Hope you all have non-stress, enjoyable weekends. Fingers crossed the car I'm going to look at tomorrow checks out and eventually becomes mine and the check-engine light my current car has been seeing doesn't rear its ugly head during inspection.

I assume you got the OBD codes for the idiot light? (Hate those CEL things)

Affirmative. It was initially a P0300 (random misfire), then started seesawing back and forth between that and P0303 (cyl.#3 misfire). I like to think I took care of the latter with new plugs and a full can of Seafoam spray. Noticed loose intake hose clamps and tightened those up last night while feeding the mosquitoes. *snerk*
