Do you know if you're using integrated graphics or have a graphics card?

You could select the options when ordering. They were:

Must select one of the following options:

• Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD Integrated Graphics
• GeForce 405 (512 MB)
• GeForce GT 520 (1 GB)
• GeForce GT 530 (2 GB)
• Radeon HD 6450 (512 MB)
• Radeon HD 6450 (1 GB)
• Radeon HD 7350 (512 MB)
• Radeon HD 7450 (1 GB)
• Radeon HD 7570 (2 GB)

Probably integrated graphics. You can tell by looking at the computer properties. (Like right-click on my-computer and select "properties" or device-manager or whatever.

Anyway, I can't tell what's going on. But if you got a new graphics card and monitor, it may cost less AND they could both be used with a new computer down the road too. But I can't guarantee it would solve the problem.

You could do it in stages...buy the monitor first, and if that doesn't work, buy the graphics card. BOTH could be used later.

But it's all a wild guess and a crap-shoot.

That's all assuming it's even a hardware issue at all.
