- $37.67 today.

Win some, lose some.

But good to get out for a while.

There was a casino person outside letting people take a peek
at the eclipse via "glasses". We were just leaving at the max
coverage time, so now been-there-done-that.

It definitely looked odd outdoors. Saw MANY deer out in fields
getting an early dinner. And a flock of wild turkeys.

And speaking of dinner, I'm not the LEAST bit hungry. Lunch
has always ruined dinner appetite. Therefore, I'm not at all
enthused or feeling creative. Poor hard-working hus.

Thank you all for your good wishes for our Ann!

Update: She and another sister were on a plane headed to Belize for vacation, and 10 minutes into the air, they had to turn the plane around and land......ambulance was on tarmac waiting and took her to Carolina Med Ctr in Charlotte NC where she underwent brain surgery. She is responding somewhat and actually gave a thumbs up but is still unable to speak or focus. Hubby drove from Fl to NC to meet the rest of the family and thank God for my other sil's quick thinking otherwise we may not have Ann today. My other sil is a veteran police detective so has seen these types of warning behaviors before, so essentially, she saved her life by getting attention within the critical time allotment. My man got home early this morning, and we continue to keep the rest of the family informed.
We're still scared, but where there is life, there is hope!! :)

Again, thank for all of your well wishes!
