G'mornin, snails...

And THIS is why I want to delete ALL my Facebook links/likes/whatever
that cause these posts to appear in my newsfeed. :(

Anyway... if this kitty is deemed "rehab-able", I'm getting involved. This
just sucked my soul dry. This cat HAS AN OWNER.

FB link... and if you click, be prepared...

Clicked the spoiler and decided not to go any further than that...

:(

Kinda glad I didn't after seeing all the follow-up posts from y'all. Just the assumed thoughts I'm having are raising my anxiety level.

On a commute note - road improvements seem to be on all over the place and it's a bit frustrating, but I'm glad it's happening now and not at the last minute before winter.

I didn't click on it at all, MadO.
Too depressing. I don't need reminders of the cruelty of either people or nature...the news is full of it. I'd rather not dwell on them. But good luck to the cat and bless those that care-for things, spiritually and/or physically.

Good morning snails.
Hump day.

I wasn't able to open it at all, and after having read the responses, glad I couldn't see it.......it would have haunted me!

And a good "It's A Wednesday" to everybody here!

..........

That post regarding the cat (and all of its co-habitant cats in that house)
has been shared on numerous profiles and three times on the originator's
profile. Literally hundreds of replies and "indications" of actions-to-follow
but, yet, not ONE post telling of any/something ACTUALLY accomplished.

I keep watching for any update, but nothing comes through.

..........

If you have any spare USPS padded flat-rate envelopes in your possession,
you may consider putting them up on eBay. From my experience the last
couple of days, you could auction them off at a STARTING bid of $1000
each.

I ordered 20 online (and 10 of the small boxes) to be delivered at home.
The boxes came, but no envelopes.

JUST got back from the MAIN ROCHESTER POST OFFICE. I had 2 items
to ship. I needed padded flat rate envelopes. They had NONE. NONE.
In that entire multi-acre facility, there was not ONE padded flat rate
envelope. (The items do not fit in a small flat rate box, Atty.)

You want to know what the "associate" said???... She said they have the
padded envelopes (now get this...) "when people bring them in".
What does that even MEAN??? o_O My take-away is that the USPS
depends on the general public to supply them.

I ended up using the UNpadded envelopes but wrapping the items in
SEVERAL of the BIG flexible envelopes. So yeah, I WASTED the supplies
they did have on hand.

..........

Taking my Dad's cat to the vet later today. She's overdue for her
checkup, nail trim and vaccinations. This is going to be fun. Her mission
is to take MY face off. Actually, the only human she does NOT want to
murder is my Dad... but he cannot handle her AND use his walker AND
shove her into the carrier simultaneously. I'm bringing elbow-length
leather gardening gauntlets for this adventure.

There is another problem, but I'll save that for AFTER the visit so I can
share what the vet will have to say.

..........

Let's see... what else this FINE day?... Oh, yes...
