G'mornin, snails...

The Navigation system in my parents' cars is of no use...and I have no idea how to effectively teach them how to use it so that they'll actually remember how to use it when I'm not around. I don't even know if my dad bought the relatively new cars (CPO) with a subscription that enables actual guidance.

Yanno, I should just give them an actual physical "old sk00l" (damn you, millennials!) map...

Sorry for my rant, but my wonderful mother who took care of my every need during multiple bonehead-induced convalescences called me last night, asked a very brief "how are you?" and then opened the floodgates on her list of son-to-do things before their road trip with 5+ other couples their age; golf trip for the men, no-doubt-shopping trip for the ladies.

*takes deep breaths*

Contemplating the beach and then the gym this afternoon or get the gym done this morning and have the rest of the day at the beach? That is the question. You can see my life is tough, but someone has to live it.

Have a great day.

I talked hubs into leaving the truck hooked up to the camper so he can get it winterized now instead of later when its more work to hook the truck up again. He's gone now to get that done.

Plenty - and I mean PLENTY - of other cats. Most scattered as I drove by. No
sign of the "problem child".

You are NOT going to believe the "house". Astounding. I fired up the old flip
phone and took a couple quick pics. But I know not how to get them off the
phone. I tried "eMail", but it wants a password... is it POP3 or IMAP... then an
IP address. WHAT password??? I have NO IDEA if it's POP3 or IMAP. And an
IP address is just something I'd know, right? Grr. And just connecting it via
USB does nothing but start the charging process.

I'll go back tomorrow with a REAL camera. But I'm still staying INSIDE the car.
Maybe "Jaws' (that's what I've named him/her already) will be around.

And a big A-HA about the padded flat rate envelopes!!!

I ordered 20 of them and some of the boxes, but only the boxes arrived
today. The carrier said she has never SEEN padded flat rate envelopes.

So that, along with the events at the PO yesterday prompted me to actually
call USPS. (I got right through, Atty.)

Turns out that they ARE a very valued and closely-guarded product. They
can only be had via online ordering and that it could take 14-21 business
days. LIMITED runs... by demand volume.

And WHY are they so hard to get? People were taking them (at the PO)
and using them as bubble wrap inside larger boxes!!!

Lousy scum ruining it for everybody!
