There is actually a way to get back the old google news format and it's quite easy.
First you need to use Firefox and add the extension plugin uacontrol from here :
    UAControl
Then open the google news page in a new tab and in the uacontrol options change the user agent.
uacontrol will have a green globe in the toolbar and a little arrow beside it and is also found in the tools menu.
Click the arrow and pIck options for this site, then copy paste this user agent :
    Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.2; en-gb; GT-P1000 Build/FROYO) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1
Your google news will be back to the old version.
o_Oo_Oo_O Good thing I read local and msn.com:?:

i got here safe and sound. it took 13 hours with a 1 hour rest period. traffic was very light most of the way. I was told there was internet and cable service, but that was a no go. cell phone service works for phone calls, but wouldn't work with email or mobile hot spot service. I finally got through using my phone as a hot spot, obviously:lol:. I got thru to Comcast--posing as a new customer:D--and they told me they should have it working by tomorrow morning. We'll see. I'm consuming a gin and tonic... because I deserve it. and will soon hit the sack... because I deserve it.:D talk to u tomorrow, hopefully.:)

    Rest peacefully, Pepper.

I'm hoping the water didn't damage anything. Watch out for mold... ;)

Nope, I'm on the first floor, but the building is raised about 5 feet. Houses around the area that weren't elevated were flooded. it's all good for me, but the Comcast service.
