I really don't believe that was necessary to bring up. What's wrong with you? (rhetorical question:D) I don't know why u continue to make the Pepper's life more difficult than it has to be. Actually, I have checked out early there also, just not as early as I am checking out here. I've enjoyed my time here, but not nearly as much as I do in Anna Maria. It will probably be my last time here.

I hope your day with dh turned out well.:)

I'm really sorry your vacation got messed up :(

Hey @SilverBear

I found out how to acclimate cats to mostly new surroundings quickly...

NONE!!!!!! That's N.O.N.E.

Buuuut....GF's cat and dog moved to her son's place for a night. Freaked them out, particularly the cat. Then all her stuff moved to the new place. The dog has visited, but the cat "moves once" to minimize trauma.

Well, the cat was sure glad to get out of the son's place, and to it's new home. All the furniture and stuffis probably smells familiar. Just everything is arranged differently in a new location. So the cat was running around just fine in the new location.

So point of the story: Put it in a staging area so it can freak out for one day, and then it will be happy in the new place!!! :D
