Ended up minus $12 on the machines yesterday. Can't win them
all, I suppose.

It became apparent during "scouting calls" to local interior-refresh
places that flooring is not a specialty for those who do wallpaper
removal, wall prep and painting. They ALL sub-contract that part
out even though it's a typical small 1960's bathroom. So, going out
this morning to three places that do flooring. One is at ONE end
of the county... the other at the OTHER end... and one in the
middle but WAY south. :: sigh :: Picking up some samples, then
will set up times for each to come out, scope the project, give an
estimate.

Went home early from work yesterday...this bipolar weather, allergies, and immune system weakened by alcohol apparently caught up with me.

it makes for a good night's rest. I had my bedroom window cracked to fill the room with chill while snuggled in the comforter. However, it makes it difficult to get out of bed.
turned the heat on for the first time this morning to take the chill out of the air. it was 39 this morning.

This morning the weather said 58 for today. We've only got to 48 so far. Hubs had his shot and is laying down for awhile now.
Atty, I've looked further into the Krack situation. It affects WPA2 encryption; however, as long as you are visiting a site that uses https, it's probably not a problem. the problem is the hackers could introduce a fake site in your wifi connection, and if you connect to that and enter any of your private information it could/will be hacked. Most companies have already issued a patch for this... I can't believe Verizon hasn't, but I am going to check; the real question is whether the router is updated. The other suggestion was to change from WPA2 to a different service, but no suggestions were given or how to do it. I know there is much more to this, but I think this gives a brief synopsis.
