Beautiful day here. Only about 69, but sunny and just plain nice. :)

Went to the eye doctor and all is well. Told him I was so glad to talk to a doctor that had nothing but good things to say to me!!!YAHOO!!!!!! Cararacts are about the same, and rest of eyes look VERY healthy. That's really great condsidering my MS. Made my day!

Good evening and goodnight dear Snails. Sleep well, pleasant dreams and a better tomorrow for all :)

Hope everyone else is doing well (Fran's DH, Gracie's DH, Tibs DH and Daisy, Katya's Hershey) and hope I didn't miss anyone!!:)

    morning, atty and classy!
pretty sure bear is dealing with his support people. plenty of those around that you pay for and give access to your computer to fix whatever problem!

I don't know. I contacted (what I thought) was legitimate Adobe technical support and gave them access to my computer (yes, I'm an idiot). Five minutes later I started getting emails from Amazon confirming that I had sent myself a gift card--$50, $75, $150... Well, I unplugged my computer and called Amazon. Took two months to get the charges reversed. Never again.

    Just reporting.

So you disagree with my asking - ok, won't ask any more.

Nobody gets remote access to my computer ever again except our University IT guy--I know him, I know his family, and I know where he lives. :D

I'd rather take my PC to an MS store or Best Buys (where bought it) and let them figure it out while I'm sitting right next to the geek with access. So I'm paranoid.

Hello, Snails! This is a flyby!

    stuff happens! ;)

friends of mine have used an antivirus company (paid subscription) for years and have granted remote access quite a few times - not my cup of tea but they were happy till a tech messed up their computer so badly it needed a clean reinstall! ;)

I contacted Microsoft because I couldn't get some of their software off of my computer. The tech started with complicated list of things to do. I suggested they take remote access of my computer. The tech cleaned it up and that was it. I don't know if I would do that again. probably not.:):2c:

I'm sure it's perfectly fine and safe 99.9% of the time. ;)
