I'd say "Happy Halloween", but that's a contradiction in terms.
I did not string up the traditional razor wire between the trees this year. Instead,
I'm answering the door dressed as Kellyanne Conway. I'm hoping parents will not
call the cops on me for taking things too far.
It's 44 degrees... a stiff 20-25mph wind. I'm hoping it's a quiet sparse bunch of
demon spawn this year.

We had the "wind event" Sunday early evening through all day yesterday.
It's STILL very breezy out there today. Some areas still without power here
and a lot of trees down across the area. (And, it did very little to rip off
all the still-green leaves on the trees, damn it.)
Hmph, my sister didn't say mention anything about the weather in the NE...

Verlander is an ex Tiger with a good record. He can pull it off. Clayton Kershaw is no slouch either though. But it's Rich Hill tonight I guess.
