And if you go browse the "Cool Science" thread, you'll ALSO find articles linking sugar to heart disease, and maybe Alzheimer's (they're calling Alzheimer's "type III diabetes" now, but it's diabetes of the brain rather than the rest of the body...watching blood sugar is probably important in helping manage it, and won't hurt). The research was suppressed in the 60's. So we all went on high-carb, low fat diets. The solution is moderate fats, lots of veggies and REDUCED carbs. From what they're saying this week.
