Cool Fran. I knew I could count on you to lift my spirits. ;)

Uh...what ohms do you usually end up at? What about #wraps and what watts you vape at? (nosey)
I've been using lazy pre-wrapped coils but I believe 6-7 wraps?? I always vape under 10watts. Usually 1/2 that, From .5 ohm on my subtank to 1.8 ohm on some other tanks.

I remember getting that great deal on those when someone was clearing inventory or something. They were like 7, or maybe it was 9, bucks each. I got three at that time I think. It was a rare event (maybe you or Tibs tipped me off? )

Anyway, that above isn't a bad price either since it has free shipping. :)

Hey Stone, use a pre-paid card or maybe paypal. ;)

Lotsa vape talk these days. I'm still using my mini Pegasus, mostly, and love it. Don't vape as much as I used to and only vape PG/VG. No nic...usually no flavor. So much out there, I figure I will just stick with what I have, as one day, I won't need the hand to mouth habit anymore.

We're kind of in between snow storms. May get a bunch of inches. May only get a little. Got maybe an inch today. Wind was blowing it sideways....brrrrr...

Good evening and goodnight Snails. Sleep well, sweet dreams and a better tomorrow for all :)

I use grain alcohol hooch :D

Such a waste of good booze. ;) Really, ISO is perfectly fine for cleaning your hardware and wire--rinse and dry and you're good.
ETA: I have a hard time watching RipTrippers...just too high energy for me :w00t:

But that is a very good instructional video. He used to be calmer and very helpful before he went completely nuts.

The black stainless is very pretty but fingerprints? Black shows everything.

I got a new GE french door a few months ago--bottom freezer--dark ss--doesn't show any prints and is magnetic. Love mine so far. Just saying.

Ahhh! The lowest I have left is 30 ga left. But I'll try it. ;) VV is handy. I can maybe get 6 wraps in there without a short, to make up for the lost surface area. I'll see. Maybe just go with 5...

I don't really care for 30 g--too thin for me and heats up too fast, IMHO. If you're serious about rebuilding, I strongly suggest getting some 28 and 29 g--I usually get my wire directly from Temco (free shipping); UD brand from FT is also very good and inexpensive.

    YMMV, as always. :D

Hello, Snails. This is a flyby. Have fun!
