G'mornin, snails...

Classic - the nurse told my dad not to drive for at least 2 days. So of course he drove himself to a medical mission meeting the following morning. Uhhh, that's barely 20 hours...I get it, dad, you practiced medicine for 40 years but for cripes sake, just humor us a little bit! :-x

Apparently, he was joking with the cardiologist asking if they'd developed some type of glue that instantly seals his sternum back together. :facepalm: I'm going to present the plate and screws that were in my leg to the surgeon before the procedure and, in the presence of my non-anesthetized dad, ask him if those would help. :laugh:

    The blood and urine tests hubs had this morning on his pancreas brought quick results.He has an appointment at the cancer center for the 24th.
    Did they give you any more info than that, Frannie? Good thoughts and vibes for you both. And hugs, too ((((HUGS))))

    Yeahhhh ....

    Was scheduled for yearly lab work but still sick too ... I have strep... again :rolleyes:

    I have good news for now. The appointment is in the cancer center but not a cancer dr. Gastroenterology and hematology.
    what a relief for now, (((frannie))) :wub:
    The definitive tests have not been done yet. Hanging hope on that.
    as you should! while there might be reason for concern it very well could be a false alarm. i wish appointments would be given much speedier :( 2 weeks is a long time with that hanging over you.
