Heat-not-burn cigarette alternative faces US scrutiny - news - Armstrong MyWire
I don't know...this excerpt gives me pause from a harm reduction perspective. Earlier in the text, it also mentions that the vapor is closer to cigarettes. For me, I'm glad that vapor doesn't taste anything like cigarettes so that made me think this would be a "No" for me.Levels of certain harmful chemicals were between 55 and 99 percent lower in the vapor produced by iqos than in cigarette smoke. But animal and laboratory studies submitted by the company also suggested the chemicals could still be toxic and contribute to precancerous growths. A company study in mice could help clarify the cancer risk, but the FDA said the results would not be available until later this year.
Totally agree. BT just wants to stay in the game, no matter what. And of course, there has been no mention of costs. For the last 2 years, I have only purchased nic and flavoring. That changed in December and this month, but I don't plan on any more major purchases for awhile so my vaping costs are negligible....
It's my guess that BT can get anything approved that they want approvedGood morning Gracie and KC and thank you both very much
