Has anyone heard from @SilverBear???? I'm starting to worry. I know he disappears from time to time, but he usually checks in and is on here a lot more in the winter.
Well... the last couple of weeks, my mood has been kind of
pre-occupied with:
https://www.democratandchronicle.co...couple-robert-mary-ross-identified/344363002/

Now that it's "over" (except for going to the funerals) and
no longer hoping against hope for a very different outcome,
things should straighten up.

:(

They had 4 cats and a local rescue managed to get them all
placed in new homes, even though now split up. Hubs and I
said we would take one of them if he was still available as
of yesterday. But the kitty was placed on Tuesday, so I'm
both bummed-out and relieved. I wasn't sure bringing another
cat into the household would be a great idea... but I also
felt having a bit of the above-mentioned friends still with us
would have been nice.

Oh, my Sweet and Sad Bear, I am so sorry for your loss. What a tragedy. And sorry you were unable to get the kitty on top of it all. Sending warm hugs and lots of love.... We are here if you ever need to talk about it. Please take care....

curious though why the son didn't take the 4 cats himself :?:
He (now) lives in Boston and has cats of his own. He made the
contact with the rescue group for their help. Two of the cats
(a bonded pair) did go together. Another is 17 years old and
    "Bouffa" is 10.

Mediterranean diet is good for you, right?

    Italy is in the Mediterranean...

Dough is hydrating. BBL. (Guess I can go light on the cheese and meat. ;) )
What time should we be there? :?:

Hi Snails. I'm hurting so bad I can't even type this without sobbing. Hershey is gone. Just a couple of days shy of her 15th birthday. We had to take her to the vet last night and returned home without her. For the first time in I don't know how many years there's no dog in our house. Just her bed, her food and water bowls, food and meds... and her leash...

I apologize for not reading back and my long absence.

No words will do justice in this instance. So so sorry, Kat. My hurt aches for you. Just know you are not alone. Sending hugs and tons of love to you...Hershey is running free, no pain, with my babies who were waiting to greet her and play....All of our babies who crossed the rainbow bridge are now welcoming another playmate who can run forever....Please take care of yourself.:cry::wub:

Thanks, Kat. I miss her so much.
I know. You feel like you will never stop crying. Like you will never be the same. Like you will never smile again. That's okay. You lost a fur baby you loved. You will feel that way for awhile. And you will always miss her. I wish you peace and comfort in the coming months, when you will be able to remember her with a smile and maybe still, a few tears. It becomes a new normal. And that hole will not be filled by anything or anyone except memories of love for your Hershey. (((((HUGS)))))

I'm so sorry for you Katya. R.I.P. Hershey.
I believe animal spirits are taken care of, and I'm sure Hershey is no exception. It's hardest on US.
Hugs to you (( Katya )).
I hope you have lots of pics and stuff.
