Tibs, just found out one of my neighbors has pancreatic cancer, which spread to the liver. She's only 58 and has been disabled for many years due to neurological problems that give her severe, debilitating headaches. Seems so unfair that some people have so much wrong with them. Very sad...

Hi Snails....Been hiding from the heat. I just keep thinking of how grateful I am to have A/C. We don't keep it freezing in here, just enough so I'm not struggling. My heart aches for people who need it and don't have it....

PITA neighbor news. He's getting a pace maker (still doing good). She had to get him to to sign a Power of Attorney for her so she can sign some last paperwork on the sale of the house. Moving day moved to Weds.
So far all is going well. She said he will have to do some rehab once he gets out.Sounds like they have it together
Oh and we have a funeral service to attend Thursday. Hubs granddaughter OD'ed on ....... We haven't seen the girl in 10 years. The H word.
